In honour of Lunar New Year, I wanted to compile a gratitude list for those of us whose heritage originates from the world’s largest continent. 

It would be unthinkable to write this article if I was a white person. I know - I can only say this because this is my blog, and not anyone else’s. Alas, it’s taken me many years to appreciate coming from a Chinese Indonesian background as an Australian born person.
